Hot Club of Cowtown will perform at Uptown Theater, 120 E. Main St., on Saturday, March 3, at 8 p.m.

Since their first recording in 1998, the Austin-based band has grown to be the most globe-trotting, hardest-swinging western swing trio on the planet. They have opened stadiums for such artists as Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson and continue to bring their brand of western swing to a wide range of festival audiences all over the world. Drawing inspiration from jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, violinist Stephane Grappelli’s Hot Club of France, and from Bob Willis, the King of western swing, the trio has taken traditional western swing to a whole new level.

Uptown Theater features popular artists, rocking music, a reasonable price at a fabulous venue. Performers include Grammy award-winning local, regional and national touring artists who engage audiences in special musical experiences each time they play.

Individual tickets for Hot Club of Cowtown cost $16-$21. Tickets are available for purchase at www.uptowntheatergp.com or by calling 972-237-8786.
