Elderly Dallas Man Dies in Accident
Grand Prairie police believe a medical problem may be the cause of death of Tom Bryant, 78, Saturday night when the car he was driving left the roadway on East Camp Wisdom and crashed into a tree near the intersection with South Carrier Parkway at about 7:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police they saw Bryant’s car slow and veer off the roadway, striking the tree at a slow speed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police spokesman Detective Lyle Gensler said investigators do not think the injuries Bryant suffered in the crash were serious enough to cause his death.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the cause of death.
