Warmer Weather until New Year’s Day

After today, sunny skies and southerly winds are expected to bring temperatures above normal through the end of 2011.
A strong cold front is expected to move south through the Southern Plains on New Year's Day bringing much cooler weather to the region. Windy conditions are expected on New Year's day, just behind the cold front.
No precipitation is expected at this time, so holiday travel is not expected to be adversely affected by the weather.
