Strong Cold Front Could Bring Wintry Mix on Monday

Cold air will filter into Grand Prairie on Sunday behind a strong cold front that will bring a hard freeze on Monday.
The area could see some winter precipitation on Monday when an upper level disturbance moves across the region.
Rain is expected through Sunday afternoon. After midnight on Monday, rain could become mixed with freezing rain to the north and west of the DFW metroplex. During the day on Monday, as the cold air continues to filter into the area, a mixture of rain and freezing rain is possible. The rain/freezing rain mixture will be light, but a few areas could see some accumulations on elevated roadways.
