Grand Prairie Lights up Christmas Tree and Market Square
Grand Prairie held its Christmas tree lighting at City Hall Plaza Thursday night and added some new features, a candlelight procession to Market Square led by middle school carolers and the lighting of Main Street.
Choral groups from the Grand Prairie ISD kept the large crowd entertained with holiday music
Santa made his appearance at Market Square and there was plenty of hot chocolate to keep everyone warm as they played games and strolled along Main Street to see the window decorations. Participating merchants filed the kids’ stockings with candy.
