A strong cold front will arrive in Grand Prairie just before the New Year begins, ushering cooler and brisk conditions Saturday night.
Temperatures at midnight for the celebration will be in the mid and upper 30s northwest to the mid and upper 40s southeast (noted in yellow on the map). Winds will shift north at 15 to 20 mph behind the cold front as it moves through. Skies will be clear to partly cloudy with no rain expected.
Be sure to bring a coat before heading out for any activities Saturday night.
