Police Arrest Suspect in June Killing of Grand Prairie Teen
Grand Prairie police announced today that an arrest has been made in connection with the killing of River Kristof “Ri-Ri” Patino, 19, of Grand Prairie, who was fatally shot during an altercation with a group of men near the intersection of Lakeview and Varsity in June.
Detective Lyle Gensler said Thomas “TJ” Yanez, 26, a member of a Grand Prairie street gang, has been charged with the murder. Yanez is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
