Police Arrest Suspect That Robbed Two Convenience Stores Tuesday

Grand Prairie police officers arrested Daniel Olivares, 29, Tuesday morning at about 11:40 a.m. outside the convenience he had just robbed located at 3202 Corn Valley Road.

Police were in the area searching for Olivares who had robbed the convenience store at 3705 S. Carrier a few minutes earlier.

Detective Lyle Gensler, Grand Prairie Police Public Information Officer, said that after further investigation, detectives were able to link Olivares to another armed robbery that occurred in Grand Prairie.

Olivares is in custody at the Dallas County Jail and has been charged with three armed robberies.
