Rain Expected Monday Through Tuesday Morning

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth said this morning that Grand Prairie is likely to see rain through 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Through 4 p.m. today, spotty showers will be around North Texas. There may be a higher concentration of showers and thunderstorms across the southern areas closer to the slowly northward moving warm front.
Timing of the expected rain:
- 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. - thunderstorms are likely in the area north of Interstate 20. Some of these storms may be severe.
- 8 p.m. and Midnight - numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to be ongoing mainly west of Interstate 35/35E. Some of these storms may be severe.
- Midnight and 6 a.m. - the showers and thunderstorms are expected to move east to affect locations east of Interstate 35/35E. Some of these storms may be severe.
