Drizzle Sunday Morning, Chance of Rain Through Tuesday

Updated: 11/06/2011 @8:00 a.m.

Low-level Gulf moisture will surge into North Texas tonight. This will result in low clouds and drizzle for Grand Prairie after 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Drizzle will likely dissipate Sunday afternoon with some breaks in the clouds possible.

An upper level disturbance and cold front will bring decent rain chances beginning Sunday afternoon and lasting into Tuesday.

The best chance for rains is late Monday through Tuesday as the cold front moves through the region.

Some severe weather will be possible. Hail and damaging winds would be the main threat of severe weather.

High temperatures will be in the mid 70s with lows in the low 60s before turning cooler on Tuesday.

Thunderstorm chances are on the increase through Tuesday. The best chances for severe weather will be Monday afternoon and evening west of Interstate 35/35W. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats, but isolated tornadoes are also possible
