Police Search for Suspect that Threatened and Robbed Individual

Grand Prairie police are searching for the suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery of an individual on October 21 at the car wash, 3050 Kingswood Boulevard.

At about 8:18 a.m., the suspect, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, approached a man washing his car in one of the open bays demanding his wallet.

When the victim said he had nothing, the suspect chambered a round in the gun and threatened, “Give me your wallet or I’ll shoot you.” The victim gave up his wallet.

The suspect fled in a gray, possibly Chevrolet, four door car, accompanied by a black female.

20s
6’
185 pounds
Approximately 10 minutes after the robbery, the suspect attempted to use the victim’s credit card.

Police have released a photograph of the suspect taken on the store's surveillance camera.
