Grammy Winning Los TexManiacs Plays at the Uptown
Los TexManiacs, the 2010 Grammy Award winning group, played Saturday night at the Uptown Theater as part of the theater’s 2011-2012 Professional Concert Series.
The group while maintaining its roots in traditional conjunto music, played a blend of music with Texas rock, blues, and R&B that the group calls, "hip music everyone can relate to."
The Professional Concert Series brings blues artist Anson Funderburg to the Uptown Theater on November 5.
