Fugitive Task Force Relocates to Public Safety Building

Grand Prairie Chief of Police Steve Dye along with U.S. Marshal Randy P. Ely, announced Friday at a press conference the relocation of the Dallas/Fort-Worth Fugitive Task Force to the Grand Prairie Public Safety Building.

The Fugitive Task Force has been in operation since January 1, 2004 with participating agencies that include the Dallas Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, Mesquite Police Department, Grand Prairie Police Department and the Tarrant County Sheriffs Department as well as numerous other local, county, state and federal agencies personnel assigned to the task fo

Due to the ongoing support received from partner agencies leadership and the United States Attorneys’ Office in North Texas, the task force has been more successful than ever imagined, apprehending some of the most violent fugitives in North Texas
