Cooler Temperatures for Remainder of Week

A strong cold front is expected to move through Grand Prairie Wednesday night bringing with it strong northerly winds and widespread rain.

Ahead of the front on Wednesday, temperatures will once again warm into the 80s under mostly sunny skies and breezy southerly winds.

With the front moving through by Thursday morning, the high in Grand Prairie on Thursday is expected to be in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible as the rain shower activity behind the front moves through. At this time, the National Weather Service said, conditions do not look favorable for severe thunderstorms.

High temperatures through Saturday are expected to be in the 60s.
