Warriors Lose Homecoming 29-9 to North Mesquite
North Mesquite proved to be too much for South Grand Prairie Friday night at the Gopher-Warrior Bowl ruining the Warriors Homecoming.
The Warriors managed to score only twice, a 41-yard Johnny Armijo field goal in the first quarter and a 2-yard Jared Jackson touchdown pass to Kelvin Brigham in the second quarter.
The North Mesquite offense was too potent for the Warriors’ defense, scoring 29 points in the game.
The loss gives South Grand Prairie a 1-2 record.
Grand Prairie lost 23-47 to W. T. White Friday night in Dallas. The Gophers record is now 0-3.
