Traders Village announced today the opening, this Saturday, September 10, 2011, of its newest two attractions, PHARAOH’S FURY and THE FREEFALL.
“We are pleased to premiere these family-oriented rides as part of our on-going expansion of the family entertainment section of our market,” says Tim Anderson, president of Traders Village Markets.
Featuring a masthead that resembles the famous Egyptian Pharaoh, “King Tut,” PHARAOH’S FURY sweeps like a pendulum, racing back and forth in an arc that soars five stories above the 100+ acre market.
The forty riders aboard PHARAOH’S FURY will experience a hair-raising vertical to horizontal ride that, Anderson says, “will royally please every member of the family.”
The other new attraction, THE FREEFALL, is no-holds-barred experience that lifts its riders to the top of a 28-foot high tower. The riders then free-fall to earth only to be uplifted again and again in free-flying journey “that’s fun for all ages,” Anderson adds.
The two new rides, PHARAOH’S FURY & THE FREEFALL, will boost Traders Village Market’s ride offerings to seven. Ticket prices are $2.00 per ride or you can purchase an All-Day All-Rides Pass for just $8.00. The pass will allow a guest to ride all the rides, as many times as they wish, during the day of their visit.
“We are extremely excited to bring these family friendly rides to our guests,” says Anderson. “They are just another example of our commitment to bring new affordable entertainment, as well as shopping experiences, designed with the entire family in mind.”
