Police Ask For Public’s Help in Identifying Robbers
At a press conference held Thursday at the Public Safety Building police spokesman Detective John Brimmer asked the public for assistance in identifying two suspects in connection with six armed robberies of convenience stores in Grand Prairie since May 21. The two are believed to be involved in two additional robberies.
Detective Brimmer said Arlington has also experienced a series of convenience store robberies involving suspects with similar descriptions with the ones in Grand Prairie.
“One of the reasons why it is so important that we identify who these men are and get them arrested,” Detective Brimmer said, “is because typically in offenses of this nature, they have a tendency to escalate. The suspects become more and more aggressive. They sometimes become more violent.”
