Officers from Grand Prairie and Arlington Police Departments recently arrested two suspects in connection with the armed robberies of at least ten convenience stores in Grand Prairie and Arlington since May.
Christopher Dejuan Kennedy, 28 of Irving and Christopher Emmanuel Williams, 25 of Grand Prairie, were arrested and charged with multiple counts of aggravated robbery.
A fingerprint lifted from one of the Arlington robberies led detectives to Kennedy. Later, Williams was identified as the second robbery suspect.
Last week, Grand Prairie police held a press conference, released surveillance video and asked for the public’s assistance indentifying the suspects. At the press conference, Detective John Brimmer said investigators feared if not captured soon, the suspects would become more aggressive and possibly violent.
Both suspects remain at the Arlington City Jail.
