AirHogs Playoff Tickets Now on Sale

The 2011 American Association South Division champion Grand Prairie AirHogs are putting tickets for their 2011 postseason run on sale, as of 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 25.

Thanks to their playoff sponsors, Texas Trust, the City of Grand Prairie, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Grand Bank of Texas and UT Southwestern Sports Medicine, all tickets at QuikTrip Park during the playoffs will be just $7.

However, fans can get tickets for ONLY $5 per game in one of two ways: Vouchers will be distributed this weekend at select locations (including sponsor facilities) around the Grand Prairie area that can be exchanged for $5 tickets.

Also, fans can purchase the full strip of postseason tickets (five games maximum) for $5 each - or just $25 per seat for the whole playoff run. The purchase price of any games not played will be put towards 2012 tickets.

While the AirHogs' first-round playoff opponent is not yet certain - they can face off against either Gary SouthShore, Lincoln, Sioux City or Wichita - the AirHogs have sealed up a better record than all of those four teams, meaning that the postseason will open at QuikTrip Park.

Game 1 is Thursday, September 1, and Game 2 is Friday, September 2. Both games will be at 7:05 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.airhogsbaseball.com, on the phone at 972-504-9383 or in person at the QuikTrip Park box office during business hours.
