Grand Prairie’s Prairie Paws Holds ‘Mutts For Muggles’ Adoption Special

In honor of the release of the eighth and final installment of the Harry Potter series, Prairie Paws Adoption Center, 2222 W. Warrior Trail, is running a special on all dogs that are not “pureblood.” During the “Mutts for Muggles” event, prospective owners can bring in their Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II ticket stubs to receive a $20 discount on dogs of mixed breed. The discount will be good through Wednesday, August 31.
Prairie Paws Adoption center strives to place as many pets as possible into quality homes with responsible owners. Adoptions are regularly $70. The fee includes microchipping, Bordetella, Parvo and Distemper Vaccination and a $50 voucher for spay/neuter.
The Prairie Paws Adoption Center is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, the center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is closed between noon and 1 p.m. for lunch. It is closed on Sunday and Monday.
