Cool off with watermelon at the Grand Prairie Farmers Market Saturday, July 30.
Enjoy fresh watermelons, watermelon wine and watermelon ice cream bars for sale. Watermelon seed spitting contests are scheduled at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon.
Also available weekly: Fresh fruits and vegetables, beef, poultry, eggs, canned jellies and relishes, herbs, handcrafted soaps and candles, and more. All products are home grown, raised, produced or made by vendors.
