Teen Killed in Shooting
Police said Patino and a friend were driving east on Lakeview Dr. around 4:40 p.m. when they passed a group of four Hispanic males walking along Lakeview Dr. The group flashed gang signs at Patino.
Patino, also known as “Ri-Ri,” stopped the car. He and his passenger confronted the group. During a verbal altercation one in the group pulled a pistol and shot Patino in the head.
The shooter is described as:
Hispanic maleAll of the suspects, described as between 16-18 years old, fled on foot. A witness told police the suspects were seen on Aggie Street.

No hair
Wearing a white t-shirt and khaki shorts
Patino was taken Methodist Dallas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
