Grand Prairie police are investigating the robbery of the Chase Bank, 700 E. Main that occurred on May 27 at about 4:26 p.m.
Police described the suspect as:
Black male
5’8” – 5’10”
170-200 pounds
Wearing a black and white long sleeve shirt that read “Rockawear”
Black baseball cap with a white “T”
The suspect showed a teller a note demanding money and fled the bank in a waiting red vehicle possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix east bound on Main Street.
Witnesses said the man was shaking as if he had Parkinson’s disease or lack of control of his muscles that caused his head to twitch to the right. Other witnesses stated the red dye pack detonated in the bag so the suspect may also have red dye on his hands or skin.
Police said the suspect’s description matched that of the one that robbed the First Convenience Bank at 514 S. Carrier Parkway on May 10. Witness also report the suspect seemed scared and was shaking.
