Grand Prairie City Services Independence Day Schedule
In observance of Independence Day, the City of Grand Prairie administrative offices will be closed Monday, July 4.
Other city services affected are:
- Main Library – closed Sunday, July 3-Monday, July 4. All libraries have bookdrops for the return of materials after hours. Items can be renewed online at library.gptx.org or by calling 972-237-5700 during library hours
- Betty Warmack Branch Library – closed Sunday, July 3-Monday, July 4. All libraries have bookdrops for the return of materials after hours. Items can be renewed online at library.gptx.org or by calling 972-237-5700 during library hours.
- Bowles Branch Library- closed Sunday, July 3-Monday, July 4. All libraries have bookdrops for the return of materials after hours. Items can be renewed online at library.gptx.org or by calling 972-237-5700 during library hours.
- Water bill payment offices – closed, payments can be made online or over the phone at 972-237-4545
- The Summit 50+ Adult Activity Center – closed
- Charley Taylor and Dalworth Recreation Centers – closed
- Bowles Life Center – closed
- Prairie Lakes Golf Course – open sunup to sundown
- Tangle Ridge Golf Club – open sunup to sundown
- Kirby Creek Indoor Pool – 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. lap, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. open swim
- McFalls and Bowles Pools – 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. open swim
- Splash Factory Water Playground – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Tyre Pool – 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. open swim
- Garbage Collection/Recycling – no collection. Please put garbage and recycling out on next collection day- no make-up day.
- Landfill – closed
- Animal Shelter – closed
- Tourist Information Center – open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
