Wal-Mart to Host All-Star Adrian Beltre “Strike Out” Cavities Program
All-Star Texas Rangers Third Baseman, Adrian Beltre will be kicking off the “Building Smiles Together” program at the Grand Prairie Wal-Mart and teaching local children (ages 1-12) about healthy oral-care habits in an effort to “strike out cavities.”
When: Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10:30 a.m.
Where: Wal-Mart Supercenter (Parking Lot), 2225 W. Interstate 20
To help build healthy smiles, Wal-Mart has joined forces with Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program to create “Building Smiles Together” – a new initiative dedicated providing access to free dental screenings and oral health education to children in need.
Colgate and Wal-Mart are also offering a free, trial-sized children’s toothpaste to all families who visit www.BuildingSmilesTogether.com on Monday, June 27 (while supplies last). Additionally, free dental health learning tools will be available online throughout the campaign.
