Viva Las Vegas – Elvis at the Uptown

Saturday night, Grand Prairie’s historic Uptown Theater was transformed into the “Vegas Years” complete with blinking lights and flamingo girls as world renowned Elvis tribute artist Kraig Parker introduced his new show, Elvis "That's The Way It Is!" to the near capacity crowd.

Parker, who said the “Vegas Years” is his favorite era of Presley’s career, showed it with an outstanding, energetic performance.

Backed by the talented “Royal Tribute Band” and “The Sweet Sensations,” Linda Lee and LaDonna Goodwin, Parker performed two sets of thirty non-stop “King of Rock ‘n Roll” hits.

Parker, who recently returned from a tour in Finland and a concert with the Phoenix Symphony, also released his latest CD, “Country Classics,” Saturday night.
