Dangerous Severe Weather Possible This Evening and Tonight
The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a particularly dangerous situation (PDS) tornado watch for much of North Texas that includes Grand Prairie until 10:00 P.M. today.
Destructive tornadoes, large hail to 3 inched in diameter, thunderstorm wind gusts to 70 mph, and dangerous lightning are possible.
The area is along and west of a Sherman to Dallas line and along and north of Interstate 20.
Persons should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.
