Sam Bush – King of New Grass at the Uptown
Friday night, Grammy Award winning multi-instrumentalist Sam Bush performed his unique style of Bluegrass music at Grand Prairie’s historic Uptown Theater.
Known as the King of Telluride and the King of New Grass, Bush has been honored by the Americana Music Association and the International Bluegrass Music Association.
Bush blended jazz, rock, blues, funk and other styles, into a genre bending style called New Grass Revival.
Best known for his jaw-dropping skills on the mandolin, Bush also entertained the crowd with his outstanding fiddle playing and great singing.
