Construction to Begin Soon on Parkland Clinic

Construction is expected to begin late next month on the 33 thousand square-foot Parkland Hospital Clinic to be built at 801 Conover Dr., former location of the Grand Prairie Police station.

It’s expected to take a year to build the clinic that is estimated to serve 40,000 patients per year.

Currently Parkland plans to provide the following clinical services:

  • Pediatric
  • Adult
  • Geriatric
  • Women, Infant & Specialty Health
  • Laboratory
  • Radiology
  • Pharmacy
  • Nutrition
Other services expected: Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Language Assistants, and Dental.

Ground breaking has been tentatively set for May 17. The clinic will open in late summer or early fall 2012.
