Child seriously hurt in hit and run accident
A three year-old child is in serious condition at Fort Worth Cook Children’s Hospital after being hit by a hit and run driver early Saturday morning.
Police said the child was struck shortly after midnight while crossing the on-ramp to State Highway 360 from the southbound frontage road near SW Green Oaks Blvd.
According to witnesses police said, the child was struck by a white pickup while crossing the on-ramp with other family members. The driver of the pickup left the scene after striking the child.
Witnesses could not provide any further information about the pickup or the driver.
