Arts Council Finishes April Concerts in the Park Series
The Grand Prairie Arts Council finished its April Concerts in the Park series Friday night at The Summit with a performance by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Brass Ensemble.
In its eleventh year, the popular musical series that features concerts by a variety of local artists each Friday nights in April, moved this year from the Turner Park Gazebo to The Summit at Central Park drawing record crowds.
Although not a part of the Arts Council's series, the fifth Friday night concert on April 29 is sponsored by The Summit. The concert by The Island Breeze Band will bring the finest in steel drum and Caribbean music transforming The Summit into a mini-island.
