Airogs to Host “Party at the Park” – Meet Players, Taste Park’s New Food Menu
The Grand Prairie AirHogs will host “Party at the Park” on May 5 at 6:00 p.m. at QuikTrip Park at Grand Prairie. The event is free to the public and will showcase the new food and beverages that will be served at QuikTrip Park during the season. It’s also an opportunity for baseball fans to meet and greet the players that will make up the 2011 Grand Prairie AirHogs.
The event will feature a “Taste of QuikTrip Park” with a new food court that includes:
- Mexican food
- Italian food
- Bar-b-que
- Fish and chips
- As well as ballpark staples such as hot dogs and hamburgers
Fans can meet the new ownership group of the AirHogs as well as the team’s new vice president and general manager Craig Brasfield and the new field manager Ricky VanAsselberg. Grand Prairie Mayor Charles England and other special guests will also appear at the event.
The AirHogs begin their fourth season at QuikTrip Park on May 12 when Grand Prairie meet the Gary SouthShore RailCats. Individual game tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling 972-504-9383 or by visiting airhogsbaseball.com.
