April Concerts in the Park moves to Central Park
Held each Friday night in April, rain or shine, the concerts move into The Summit Ballroom should it rain.
All ages are welcome to the free concerts that begin at 7:00 p.m.
Visitors can bring their blanks and lawn chairs, but no food or drinks are allowed. A full concession will be available where visitors can purchase beer and wine, grilled foods, popcorn and more.

April 1 - Ron Jones Jazz Quartet
Saxophonist Ron Jones has recorded two original Jazz CDs, written music for CNN, jammed onstage with Smokey Robinson & Kirk Whalum, and performed across the U.S. Combined with equally talented Bass, Keyboard & Drum musicians, the Ron Jones Jazz Quartet is part classical, part blues, part jazz & part rock all rolled into one great musical evening!
April 8 - Shoot Low Sheriff
An authentic Western Swing inspired by the classic Western Swing bands, their music combines strings, horns and piano to recapture the sounds that swept Southern dancehalls in the thirties and forties. Shoot Low Sheriff makes the music fresh and exciting combining equal parts urban and rural, sophisticated and rustic. Young and old alike will find themselves smiling and singing along to classic songs from the Western Swing era.
April 15 - First Rush
North Central Texas' Most Progressive Classic Rock Band! Enjoy classic tunes from the seventies, eighties, and nineties, with an accent on rich vocal harmonies, virtuosic chords, melodies and percussion, all performed with the collective legacy of untold decades of stage experience.
April 22 - The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra
The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Brass Ensemble - in concert in Grand Prairie … need we say more!

April 29 - Tommy-O and the Bamboo Boat Band (5th Friday Concert sponsored by The Summit)
Serving up the finest in steel drum and Caribbean music, Tommy-O and the Bamboo Boat is guaranteed to bring the Island vibe to Grand Prairie! Their sweet steel pan melodies mixed with the rhythms of the Caribbean will transport you to a mini-island vacation.
