Lone Star Park to hold job fairs for 2011 season

Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie will host the first of four Job Fairs, this Tuesday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, March 3 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for all seasonal staff positions. The Job Fairs will repeat on Tuesday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, March 10 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

During the Job Fairs, Lone Star Park will be accepting applications and conducting interviews for employment during the 2011 Spring Thoroughbred season, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, July 10.

Positions are available in the following departments (subject to change):

Admissions
Building Maintenance
Cleaning Services
Mutuels
Food & Beverage
Parking
Security

A full employment application will be required prior to an interview and may be completed at the Job Fairs. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age for most positions, with 16 years of age being the minimum.
