Local artists showcased at African-American heritage celebration
The Grand Prairie Arts Council and the Betty Warmack Branch Library presented the 7th Annual African-American Heritage Celebration Saturday.
The afternoon of entertainment featured performances by local artists:

- Elizabeth Gaitán – God Bless the USA! A Celebration in Song
- Marlowe D’elene – Musakalala the Talking Skeleton
- Xzavier Young – Songs of Strength and Struggle
- Noel Smart – Poetic Reflections
