The National Weather Service in Fort Worth advised there is a potential of wintery precipitation for Grand Prairie around Tuesday of next week.
A cold front is expected to move through North Texas on Monday, with temperatures dropping below freezing Tuesday. Precipitation should develop as an upper level system moves toward the region bringing a chance of wintry mix. A slight chance for some light snow may linger into Tuesday night.
In a statement the Weather Service said, there is still a lot of uncertainty regarding the strength and timing of the upper level system. It is too early to predict any potential for significant accumulations.
