The Improvised Shakespeare Company opens at the Uptown
The Improvised Shakespeare Company opened its first of four performances at the Uptown Theater Friday night.
With nothing planned-out, rehearsed, or written, the five actors created a unique, fully improvised play in Elizabethan style based on a suggestion from the audience. Complete with “thee’s” and “thou’s,” the off-the-cuff comedy used the language and themes of William Shakespeare.
The next appearances at the Uptown:
Saturday, January 22 at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.
Suncay, January 23 at 2:00 p.m.
Each play is completely improvised, so each play is entirely new.
