School district’s Deputy Superintendent to lead Willis ISD

Grand Prairie ISD’s Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Bret Jimerson, has been selected as the lone finalist for Superintendent of the Willis ISD.

Willis, a district of 6,200 students, is located approximately 50 miles north of Houston.

A special meeting of the Willis ISD Board of Trustees is set for January 5 to formally vote on Dr. Jimerson’s appointment.

Dr. Jimerson has been Grand Prairie ISD's Deputy Superintendent for since 2008, directing educational operations. He is expected to begin work at Willis ISD in early March.
