Arts Council announces Market Square art contest
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Best of Show will be awarded in adult and student categories. All hanging media will be considered including, but not limited to oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed-media, drawing and photography. Artwork should focus on the theme “Farmers Market” and/or “Market Square.” The exhibition is open to middle school and high school students in Grand Prairie and adults.
The Farmers Market re-opens for the 2011 season on March 5 and will be open 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturdays at 125 W. Main Street through the end of the year.
