Arlington man year's first traffic fatality
Sergeant Eric Hansen, Traffic Division, said at about 10:30 a.m. on January 27, Keith Lanard Curry, 39, of Arlington, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer southbound on SH 360 at a high speed when he hit the rear end of a 1994 Honda Civic he was attempting to pass. Curry then lost control of the Blazer, and left the roadway traveling down an embankment. The Blazer overturned several times, ejecting Curry from the vehicle.
Curry was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center where he died at 9:44 PM.
The driver of the Honda, Luis Lopez, 27, of Fort Worth was not injured.
This is the first traffic fatality in Grand Prairie this year.
