Prairie Lights sponsor and Employee of the Month recognized
At Tuesday’s Grand Prairie City Council meeting, Chesapeake Energy presented the city a check for $25,000 to sponsor the Prairie Lights, the city’s annual holiday lighting extravaganza.
Whitney Fowler, Marketing Department, was selected Employee of the Month for her outstanding work revising the city’s Engineering Department’s website. She worked closely with engineers and staff to make the site more user friendly and state-of-the-art. She not only did the artistic and technical work on the project, she trained employees responsible of updates and input on how to maintain the site.
