Grand Prairie Reporter – three years old

What better way to celebrate the Grand Prairie Reporter’s third anniversary than to announce that an all-time visitor record was set in October with 5,748 visits, shattering the previous mark of 4,327 visits established in May, 2010.

The ‘Reporter’ launched on November 1, 2007 with a goal to provide the most reliable and complete coverage of Grand Prairie news events.

Although there has been many changes since 2007 within the media business, newspapers going out of business, cut backs at large newspapers, and of course more news shifting from print to online, the ‘Reporter’ has consistently provided the best community news coverage in Grand Prairie. Publishing more than 1,500 articles, the ‘Reporter’ is Grand Prairie’s number one source of local, community news.

To all ‘Reporter’ readers, thank you for taking time out of your busy day to read the articles and view the photos. Support ‘Reporter’ advertisers, for it’s their commitment to independent news reporting that brings the ‘Reporter’ to you.

The ‘Reporter’ will continue its commitment to covering the news of Grand Prairie, not surrounding communities, and reporting news as it happens, not days or weeks later.
