Police respond to two fatal accidents on Sunday
The first accident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. in the 6000 block of Lake Ridge Parkway, adjacent to Lynn Creek Marina.
Jerry Glenn Riddle, 63, of Arlington was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on Lake Ridge when he lost control, fell off the motorcycle, and struck his head on a guard rail post. No other vehicles were involved.
Riddle who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
The second crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of South Great Southwest Parkway.
Brad Alan Gray, 38, of Grand Prairie was driving a 2002 Honda Civic coupe southbound on Great Southwest Pkwy, south of Pioneer Pkwy, when drove his car onto the center median, colliding with a street light pole. There were no other vehicles involved.
Gray who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
Sergeant Eric Hansen, Grand Prairie Police Traffic Division, said both accidents remain under investigation.
