Police continue investigation into Thursday’s fatal shooting

Grand Prairie Police released additional information today about the shooting Thursday in the 4900 block of S. Highway 360 that killed one man.

Police spokesman Detective John Brimmer identified the victim as Shannon Jerod Sneed, 33. He added that Uraina Coleman, 24, was arrested at the scene for investigation of murder. Police also recovered the weapon believed to be used in the shooting.

Detective Brimmer said the investigation is still ongoing. The detective assigned to the case will contact the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office to discuss it and determine what charges, if any will be filed.

Arraignment for Coleman is set for today in Tarrant County, bond will be set at that time.
