A team of Cosmetology Students from Dubiski Cosmetology took the National Title in Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) competition at SkillsUSA held July 20-26 in Kansas City.

After the team of Cindy Espinoza, Maritza Montanez, and Veronica Juarez took fourth in last year’s completion, they came home determined to take the gold medal this year.

The team worked all year on their gold medal winning entry, a leather bound OSHA book that contained four separate projects on safety and sanitation designed to help fellow students, schools, and the entire community lead healthier and safer lives.
