AirHogs outlast Cats 2-1

The AirHogs scored once in each of the first two innings and relied on a stellar pitching performance by Luke Prihoda to down Fort Worth 2-1 Thursday night at QuikTrip Park.

Grand Prairie 1B Greg Porter and 2B Chris Brown each contributed RBI hits early, and from there, Prihoda allowed just one run over seven innings to hold off the Cats. He scattered five hits en route to his fourth win of the season, and Geivy Garcia pitched two hitless frames out of the bullpen to tally his sixth save.

Fort Worth Catcher Kelley Gulledge hit his third home run of the season to account for the Cats’ only offense.
