City honors fallen veterans at Memorial Day Service
Hundreds attended Grand Prairie’s annual Memorial Day Service at Veteran Memorial Park.
The service featured keynote speaker Colonel Jerry Poteet, a reading of each Grand Prairie soldier killed while serving, a 21 gun salute by the Grand Prairie Police Department’s Honor Guards and a fly-over by the Commemorative Air Force.
A free lunch was served after the service at the Senior Citizens Center.
