Suspects sought in bank robbery

Grand Prairie police are asking the public's help to identify two suspects that robbed the Wachovia Bank, 3060 Camp Wisdom Road, on April 13 at approximately 10:13 a.m.

The suspects, both black males, were wearing orange construction vests and carrying handguns.

Suspect descriptions:

1. 5’8” tall, weighing 160 pounds, 20 to 25 years old, wearing blue jeans with a white bandana covering his face, and a white ball cap.
2. 5’7” tall, weighing 190 to 200 pounds, 25 to 30 years old, wearing designer blue jean shorts, white mask, a grayish green jacket with yellow emblems on it and a Cowboy football logo ball cap.

The surveillance photos show one of the suspects grab a customer and struggle with him as the customer fled from the bank.

Detective John Brimmer, Grand Prairie police spokesman, said the customer later returned to the bank and gave officers information.

The suspects fled the bank in a 1988 Delta 88 that was reported stolen out of Dallas, Detective Brimmer said.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspects should call the Grand Prairie Police Department at 972-237-8877 or the Grand Prairie Crime Stoppers Hot Line at 972-988-8477.
