8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13. Best of Broadway: Love Songs
They wowed our sold out audience last season -- wait until you see and hear what they have in store for us this year. Jill Blalock and friends return to the Uptown for a romantic evening of Broadway's best love songs. Blalock, a versatile performer, has toured with the Broadway musical, The King and I as Tuptim with Stacy Keach in America and Japan and has recently been seen locally as The Witch in Into the Woods and Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret. 8 p.m., Saturday, March 6. Celebrate Texas: Singer Songwriters
Celebrate Texas Independence with the independent spirit of Texas singers and songwriters on the Uptown stage. A trio of remarkable players, Jon Dee Graham, Darrell Scott and a very special yet-to-be-revealed guest will swap songs and stories in this intimate performance. Simply Sinatra -- Simply Stunning. Veteran performer Steve Lippia and his big band bring Ol' Blue Eyes' tunes back to life in a big way. He is a staple on the orchestra pops scene and in Las Vegas where his shows amaze sold out audiences. Close your eyes and you'll swear Sinatra is on our stage. January 28-31, February 4-7. Spring Show: Always Patsy Cline
Presented by the Grand Prairie Arts Council. Based on a true story about the friendship between the legendary country music queen and her biggest fan, this musical features more than 20 of Patsy's hits, including Your Cheatin' Heart, I Fall To Pieces and Crazy. The show stars GPAC stage veteran Susan Metzger as Patsy Cline; and show veteran Dana Harrison as Lousie, Patsy’s biggest fan and eternal friend.
