Murder suspect surrenders
Detective John Brimmer, Public Information Officer for the Grand Prairie Police, today said the attorney for Edward Gutierrez, the suspect in the June 24 shooting death of Samer Hamdan, surrendered Gutierrez to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office around 9:00 p.m. June 26t.
Gutierrez was released after his attorney posted a $50,000 bond.
The case will be filed July 2 with the Dallas County District Attorney's office charging Gutierrez with the murder of Hamdan, Detective Brimmer said.
